Ultrasonic calling in isolated infant prairie voles (Microtus ochrogaster) and montane voles (M. montanus)

I compared number of ultrasonic calls infant prairie voles (Microtus ochrogaster) and montane voles (M. montanus) emit when isolated. Typically, murid infants produce ultrasonic calls when they cannot thermoregulate adequately.
